Oh, we don’t mean the US state. We mean the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia! This is a day to stand up against hate, to acknowledge hurt, pain and loss, and to celebrate our strength and resiliency. The event is free all day, and everyone is welcome.

This Saturday, May 16th @ the Hamilton Public Library, 55 Yord Blvd.

10am: Craftivism with Hamilton’s own Thready or Not. Make your own screen-printed chosen family tree

12 noon: Panel featuring LGBTQ activists sharing their experience and knowledge

2pm: Live music and spoken word, with performance by Ill Nana DiverseCity DanceCompany!

3:30pm: Film Screening of Out in the Night (2014), hosted by Cinema Politica
